Alliance/AFT officers and staff wish you a happy day of celebration in honor of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Monday, January 20, 2025! As a national holiday and Dallas ISD being closed, the Alliance office will not be open. Many members will join our Dallas Central Labor Council union brothers and sisters by participating in the MLK, Jr. Day Parade held at Fair Park on Saturday, January 18th. The parade begins at 10:00am at the Pennsylvania St. and Robert T. McCollum Ave. gate into the fairgrounds.
